Shalu Main Campus of Kuang Tien General Hospital
Shalu
1. The basement was excavated applying the MASAGO 80 cm slurry wall. This project was difficult during implementation in that the CCP piles needed to be geologically improved and the quick sand geology and high water level were the other things to be overcome. The slurry wall construction and the conditions during excavation had to be kept control of very rigidly. The lead plate compartment partition of the X-ray room required a high level of construction precision, with sophisticated steps, in addition to the inter-connection between the basements of the new and old buildings of the hospital. It was not easy for the waterproof work given the high technicality. The structural column was located inside the slurry wall. The preserved precision for the continuous connector of the steel bars had to be perfect and in position. The double wall of the basement and the lint-free construction of the operation room all required super techniques to collaboratively get things done.
2. Primary Building Materials: X-ray lead plate compartment, tile, punching steel plates, self-leveling mud + plastic tiles on the floor.
