The level of ground water is high. The foundation surpasses the backfill earth layer to reach the gravel carrying earth layer. The pumping well is dug applying the impact approach. The structural configuration meets the demands of the hospital. It can accommodate up to 396 beds in total. It was particularly uneasy to build the arc entrance with glass curtain. The structure is bulky and the amount of concrete used reached 16,521 cubic meters and steel bars used reached 3,798 tons. The operations on the old campus needed to be taken care of during construction.
The columns of the round door at the entrance are covered by special aluminum clad boards with fine workmanship. The structural part went through the most strict quality inspection during construction. Each inspection point was suspended while being inspected in person by parties from the PCM construction surveillance unit to the chief director at the manufacturing plant. It can be said to be a typical and successful medical building.
