The yellow and green striped surroundings are inspired by the significance behind traditional Chinese bamboo and answer to the adjacent Chinese culture center buildings. Floors: Three floors above ground and one basement; each floor is about 300 pings (1 ping = 3.305785 m2). Overall, it is about 1,000 pings in area. The library can house up to 100 thousand books in total.
